Privacy policy

This page explains what data this website processes, for what purpose, who it is shared with and what you can do about it. It is written to reflect exactly how the site works: we collect the minimum needed for each section to function, and we do not sell or hand over data for advertising.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Comunidad SPH. For anything related to your data you can reach us through the SPH Discord or at the community's contact email address.
What data we process and why
General browsing. We measure visits and performance in an aggregated, anonymous way. No advertising profile is built about you and you are not tracked across websites.
Server waiting counter. On the join-the-match page in AFK mode, your browser sends a “heartbeat” so we can count how many people are waiting at the same time. It is identified by an anonymous single-use code stored in a session cookie; it is not cross-referenced with anything else and it disappears on its own when you close the browser.
Signing in with Discord (profiles). Access happens through Discord: it is Discord that verifies you are who you say you are. We never see your sign-in details — no password, no email, no token; all Discord gives us is your public identity. From that we store your username, your profile picture and the roles you hold on the SPH Discord, along with your Discord ID, which is the address of your profile. We use that to show your public member profile and the community directory, and nothing more.
Member directory. So the directory is not empty, we preload only the public name of members who hold a rank or a supporter role on the server. The picture, the stats and the roles only appear once that person signs in themselves.
Cookies
We only use cookies that are necessary for the site to work: the waiting-counter one described above and, if you sign in, a session cookie that keeps your identity while you browse. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Visit analytics are aggregated and do not rely on cookies.
How long data is kept
The AFK counter's waiting code expires within minutes. Member profiles are kept for as long as the community maintains the directory. Aggregated analytics cannot identify you and are retained according to the provider's policies.
Security
The site is always served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The profile database is only reachable from the server with private credentials — never from your browser — and we do not store passwords or Discord access credentials.
Changes to this policy
If we change the way we handle data, we will update this page and its “last updated” date. We recommend checking back from time to time.
